My name is Ed Walsh, and I am the Founder/CEO and lead Numismatist of Minuteman Rare Coin Company.

 

My passion for studying, collecting, and investing in rare United States gold and silver coins has taken me on a fascinating journey through American history.

 

I was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, the heart of the American Revolution and the birthplace of our nation. I've always felt a deep connection to and appreciated the historical and cultural significance of the role that gold and silver coins have served in shaping our great nation.

 

I've dedicated countless hours to studying the stories and symbolism behind United States gold and silver coinage history. I began collecting coins as a hobby in early childhood.

CAREER

 

My deep passion for the historical significance of United States gold and silver coins ultimately led me to a career in numismatics. I have over 30 years of experience and expertise in collecting and investing in rare United States gold and silver coins.

 

As a numismatist with a long and successful background in finance and investing, I've spent years developing a deep understanding of the financial world, different financial markets, and the roles that rare gold and silver coins serve in them from a collecting, investing, and historical perspective.

 

Through careful research and examination, I've built a vast collection of valuable and rare United States gold and silver coins and developed a keen eye for identifying specimens worthy of collecting and investing in.

 

Throughout my career as a numismatist, I have cultivated an extensive network of resources and developed a reputation as a trusted expert in rare United States gold and silver coins.

 

I have assisted countless clients in making wise and insightful collecting and investing decisions, building their legacies while growing their collections and wealth.

 

PERSONAL

 

In addition to operating Minuteman Rare Coin and my work as its lead numismatist, I am passionate about finding ways to give back and positively impact the community.

 

Whether volunteering at a local shelter or helping organize a charitable fundraiser, I'm always looking to use my skills and resources to influence the world around me positively.

I am an avid golfer, reader, and sports enthusiast in my free time.

 

If I'm not hitting the links with friends or clients or watching my favorite sports teams play, I often study Spanish through reading or attending Spanish language classes and workshops. My all-time favorite book is Don Miguel Ruiz's The Four Agreements.
